Despite COVID Diagnosis, FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel Still Set For Appearance At NAB Show

Despite catching COVID-19, FCC Chairwoman JESSICA ROSENWORCEL is still set to attend the 2022 NAB SHOW in LAS VEGAS and participate in a "fireside chat" session with NAB Pres./CEO CURTIS LEGEYT on APRIL 25th. ROSENWORCEL wrote on TWITTER MONDAY (4/11) that she has a "mild" case of the virus and is working from home; shortly thereafter, her appearance at the convention was announced.

“In today’s hyper-competitive media landscape, a regulatory framework that allows local radio and television stations to evolve, adapt and better serve their audiences is of vital importance,” said LEGEYT. “Broadcasters look forward to hearing from Chairwoman ROSENWORCEL about her role as the head of a critical agency and her outlook on the future of our industry.”
