Michelle Aquilato Joins public emily artist management As Nashville-Based GM

MICHELLE AQUILATO joins PUBLIC EMILY ARTIST MANAGEMENT as GM. She previously was VP/Marketing and Label Mgr. for ROUNDER RECORDS, where she has worked for four years after a stint with the AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION. She will remain based in NASHVILLE. 

In this new role, she will oversee day-to-day operations across every area of the company, including recorded music, touring, publicity, marketing and music publishing. She will also collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies and marketing initiatives for the company’s roster of artists and producers, which includes: LAKE STREET DIVE, SARAH JAROSZ, I’M WITH HER, RICKIE LEE JONES, DAN KNOBLER, ZIA VICTORIA and LUCIE SILVAS.

Company founder EMILY LICHTER said, “We are thrilled to have MICHELLE join our women-led management team as General Manager. She will bring invaluable knowledge and experience to our entire roster. She continues as producer for the AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION’s annual “Honors & Awards” ceremony, a position she has held since 2012.
