CBS Sports' Sean McManus, 'History Of Rock 'n' Roll' Win Awards At New York Festivals Competition

CBS SPORTS Chairman SEAN McMANUS took home LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT honors, while the G NETWORKS/RESERVE PRODUCTIONS' two-hour weekly syndicated series, "The History Of Rock 'n' Roll" earned the Bronze, the highest award for "Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program” at the WORLDWIDE NEW YORK FESTIVALS RADIO AWARDS COMPETITION, which were handed out at the 2022 STORYTELLERS GALA TUESDAY night (4/26).
World-class audio entries from 24 different countries around the globe were judged by the 2022 GRAND JURY of 200+ producers, directors, writers, and other creative media professionals and judged on the following criteria: production values, creativity, content presentation, direction, writing, achievement of purpose and audience suitability. .
Since 1957, the NEW YORK FESTIVALS RADIO AWARDS has celebrated excellence and innovation across all genres and platforms, keeping pace with industry-wide developments and global trends. The mission of the competition is to honor the achievements of the men and women who make up the global audio storytelling community.
