  Bob James Passes At 98
  
  Former KQV-A/PITTSBURGH reporter BOB JAMES died WEDNESDAY in SAN FRANCISCO at 98, reports the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE.
  JAMES was best known for his long run at KQV in 1978-2004; he started at DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY's WDUQ/PITTSBURGH in 1949, then worked at WSTV-A/STEUBENVILLE, OH, WPIT-A and WAMP-A/WJAS-A/PITTSBURGH, CBS affiliate WFBG-TV (now WTAJ-TV)/ALTOONA, and NBC affiliate WIIC-TV (now WPXI-TV) and WWSW-A (3WS)/PITTSBURGH.
