WJR/Detroit Celebrates 100th Anniversary

CUMULUS MEDIA News-Talk WJR-A/DETROIT celebrated its 100th birthday TODAY (5/4). The station signed on MAY 4, 1922 as WCX.

The best-of-the-best seem to find their way to WJR, and I know that tradition will continue on for the next 100 years.”
