WDOD (Hits 96)/Chattanooga's Running Of The Chihuahuas Returns

BAHAKEL Top 40 WDOD (HITS 96)/CHATTANOOGA held its 13th annual Running Of The Chihuahuas last weekend, with the station claiming that the event drew close to 5,000 listeners. Over 110 small breed dogs raced down the 90 feet of artificial turf to gain the crown of ROTC 13 Champion. LIL BIT was the top dog, defending his title from two years ago.

The festivities included a food truck, a kid's zone, and a 'Best Dressed Dog' contest, featuring judges 'PART TIME JUSTIN' from THE KIDD KRADDICK SHOW, social media influencer VODKLANA, CHATTANOOGA RED WOLVES head coach JIMMY OBLEDO, and singer CALEY ROSE, who also performed at the event along with CHARLOTTE SANDS and JENA ROSE. 

OM TODD HALLER told ALL ACCESS, "This year's event marks the passing of the torch from our former midday personality JASON WALKER to MD/afternoon host GINO D. We're excited to bring back a CHATTANOOGA tradition with such success and look forward to an even bigger and better event in 2023."
