ALL ACCESS has learned that ALPHA MEDIA's Hot AC WSSR (STAR 96.7)/JOLIET, IL, has paired up EDDIE VOLKMAN and HANNAH BRUMMER for its new morning show. The announcement was first made on BRUMMER's INSTAGRAM account on WEDNESDAY (5/4). VOLKMAN, WSSR Content Director, moves from afternoons to mornings, and BRUMMER will continue to host Afternoon Drive on sister station Hot AC WXLC (102.3 XLC)/GURNEE, IL (NET NEWS 9/15/21).

VOLKMAN told ALL ACCESS, “HANNAH is what radio needs to survive and grow. She’s brilliant with social media, podcasting and engagement on multiple platforms that extend radio’s evolution and reach, such as TikTok. I guess I’ll have to learn to dance!”
