Westwood One-Commissioned Study Shows Lift For Office Supplies Retailer From AM/FM Ad Campaign

WESTWOOD ONE's weekly corporate blog is touting a CUMULUS/WESTWOOD ONE AUDIO ACTIVE GROUP-commissioned study of an AM/FM radio advertising campaign bought by a "national office supplies retailer" in SUMMER 2021 that shows the campaign generating sales lift.
The study showed online shopping generating 17% of total spend from just 8% of all transactions, while the lift among households with children included a 4% share of category spend, 10% lift in spend per buying household, and 23% total spend growth. Among new buyers, the campaign generated 15% lift in spend per transaction.
