Celebrating 50 Years

ASSURANCE SCIENCES FOUNDATION's Variety KKUP/CUPERTINO, CA,  is celebrating its half a century anniversary of serving the community. To commemorate its 50th Anniversary in service to listeners in the SILICON VALLEY and MONTEREY BAY area, KKUP will be airing a special “Psychedelic Marathon” on the weekend of FRIDAY MAY 20th to SUNDAY MAY 22nd. Listeners will be treated to the music that was popular during the early years of KKUP by artists like THE DOORS, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE, GRATEFUL DEAD, THE ANIMALS, MOBY GRAPE, BIG BROTHER & THE HOLDING COMPANY, PROCOL HAREM, and PINK FLOYD.  

Listeners can hear it on 91.5 KKUP or stream at KKUP.org and pledge support all weekend.
