RICK ASTLEY is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the release of his 1987 Debut WHENEVER YOU NEED SOMEBODY. To celebrate, he has released a reissued 2-CD and digital version of the album, which was remastered at ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS. The project features one of the most recognizable singles, the worldwide #1 song “Never Gonna Give You Up," plus hits “Together Forever” and the title track. ASTLEY’s 1987 multi-platinum debut topped charts in 25 countries. 

ASTLEY has also released a brand new animated version of the ”Never Gonna Give You Up” video. Created by 50/50 MEDIAHOUSE.The animation recreates all of the most memorable moments from the original video, which has since exceeded 1.2 billion views on YOUTUBE. Watch HERE.

In addition, ASTLEY is currently on a 57-Date ArenaTour with NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, SALT-N-PEPA, and EN VOGUE.

The reissue and tour have led to a number of key appearances for ASTLEY, including a surprise performance and interview recently on The KELLY CLARKSON SHOW, plus USA TODAY, ASSOCIATED PRESS, CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND, SPIN, BILLBOARD, the ROB BRYDON podcast and more. Astley will also appear on an episode of CBS MORNINGS and the sONG eXPLODER podcast in JUNE.
