Kakul Srivastava Named Splice CEO, Founder Steve Martocci Takes New Role

KAKUL SRIVASTAVA has been named the new CEO at music creation platform SPLICE. Joining the company from ADOBE, SRIVASTAVA has served on the Board Of Directors since 2021.
SPLICE founder and current CEO STEVE MARTOCCI will take on the role of Executive Chairman/Chief Strategy Officer.
Earlier this month, MARIA EGAN exited as SPLICE's Chief Music Officer to join RIOT GAMES as Global Head of Music & Events.
Prior to SPLICE, SRIVASTAVA was in charge of ADOBE's Creative Cloud business,and, before that, she was the VP/Product & Marketing at GITHUB, GM for FLICKR and VP/Apps at YAHOO.
Commenting on the appointment, MARTOCCI said, “KAKUL is a leader for the future. She’s dynamic, operational and empathetic and deeply understands building products for creators.
"Her leadership will be the key to SPLICE accelerating growth, expanding its footprint and becoming an iconic company.”
Added SRIVASTAVA, “In a world where everyone is a creator, SPLICE is building the essential tool set to make music.
