Report: Recording Academy Co-Pres. Valeisha Butterfield Jones Returning To Google As VP

RECORDING ACADEMY Pres. VALEISHA BUTTERFIELD JONES is leaving the GRAMMY organization in SEPTEMBER to return to GOOGLE as VP/Partnerships on GOOGLE's Diversity team, according to VARIETY.

BUTTERFIELD JONES served as Global Head Of Inclusion at GOOGLE before joining the ACADEMY in 2020 as Chief Diversity Officer; she was upped to Co-President along with PANOS A. PANAY in JUNE 2021. She also serves as honorary co-chair of the BLACK MUSIC COLLECTIVE and will continue in that role.
