PODTRAC's weekly podcast listening data for its measured shows for AUGUST 29-SEPTEMBER 4 showed downloads down 1% from the previous week after two consecutive flat weeks, and up 52% on a year-to-year basis.

As for growth in "top categories" for PODTRAC measured shows, download growth for the 52-week period from AUGUST 30, 2021 to SEPTEMBER 4, 2022 was +4% for Arts, +58% for Business, +91% for Comedy, +180% for Health & Fitness, +59% for History, +38% for News, +13% for Science, +46% for Society & Culture, +59% for Sports, and +41% for True Crime.

Week-to-week growth in 2022 was -1% for Arts, +1% for Business, -1% for Comedy, +5% for Health & Fitness, +2% for History, -1% for News, -1% for Science, -4% for Society & Culture, +1% for Sports, and -5% for True Crime.

The Health & Fitness category led week-to-week growth at 5%, while Health and Fitness also again led year-over-year growth at +180% and True Crime showed the weakest week-over-week growth at -5%.
