FORBES has compiled a listed of the world's billionaires, and NEWS CORP.'s RUPERT MURDOCH leads to way of radio- and/or record-related entries at #73, with a net worth of $9 billion. VIACOM's SUMNER REDSTONE is #86 at $8 billion, and concert-venue mogul PHILIP ANSCHUTZ makes the top 100 at #93 and $7.9 billion. Former JACOR controller SAM ZELL is #158 at $5 billion, and DAVID GEFFEN is #167 at $4.7 billion.

The list also includes: VIRGIN's RICHARD BRANSON, #230, $3.8 billion; UNIVISION's A. JERROLD PERENCHIO, #287, $3 billion; UNIVISION acquirer HAIM SABAN, #323, $2.8 billion; DISNEY's ROY DISNEY, #754, $1.3 billion; CLEAR CHANNEL Chairman L. LOWRY MAYS, #799. $1.2 billion; and former DISNEY chief MICHAEL EISNER, #891, $1 billion.
