WKRD/Louisville Rebrands, Adds 'Kentucky Sports Radio'

KSR Moves Down The Dial In Louisville

iHEARTMEDIA Sports WKRD-A (790 KRD)/LOUISVILLE has rebranded as SPORTS TALK 790 and is the new LOUISVILLE affiliate for MATT JONES' statewide-syndicated KENTUCKY SPORTS RADIO show, moving from sister News-Talk WKJK-A (TALK RADIO 1080) to air 10a-noon (CT) on WKRD, replacing FOX SPORTS RADIO's DAN PATRICK. Also moving from WKJK is JERRY EAVES' noon show, which is now airing 7-8a (CT) on WKRD.

WKRD is also carrying two KSR-produced lead-in shows, an 8-9a (CT) hour with KENTUCKY WILDCATS radio voice TOM LEACH and the "KSR PRESHOW" 9-10a. Morning host NICK COFFEY moves to afternoons, and FOX SPORTS RADIO is being cleared the rest of the day.

The cluster has yet to announce what will air in KSR's time slot on WKJK.
