WMPI (i105.3)/Scottsburg, IN Owner Ray Rice Dies After Suffering Stroke On Cruise

RAY RICE, owner of D.R. RICE BROADCASTING Country WMPI (I105.3)/SCOTTSBURG, IN, died SUNDAY night (1/8) in MCALLEN, TX after suffering a stroke aboard a cruise ship in the CARIBBEAN, reports FOX affiliate WDRB-TV (FOX 41)/LOUISVILLE.

According to his daughter, AMY NICHOLS, RICE was incapacitated on the ship, brought to a hospital in PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO once the ship was docked the next day, then taken to a hospital in MCALLEN.

A GOFUNDME campaign has been set up to help RICE's family pay for his medical expenses.
