Sherry Lansing Named Chairman Of The Board At Universal Music Group

Former PARAMOUNT PICTURES CEO and 20TH CENTURY FOX Pres./Production SHERRY LANSING has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP N.V., effective TODAY (1/10).

LANSING, who was named to UMG's board last MARCH, replaces JUDY CRAYMER, who is retiring to focus on her film and theater producer activity. LANSING served as PARAMOUNT's Chairman/CEO in 1992-2004 and has operated her SHERRY LANSING FOUNDATION since 2005.
