Dre, Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, And Sylvia Rhone To Receive Global Impact Award

A Night For Honors

During GRAMMY Week in LOS ANGELES, DR. DRE, MISSY ELLIOTT, LIL WAYNE, and EPIC RECORDS Chair/CEO SYLVIA RHONE, will receive the RECORDING ACADEMY Global Impact Award at the BLACK MUSIC COLLECTIVE's second annual event for RECORDING ACADEMY HONORS. 

The affair will take place on THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2nd at the HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM. The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards are SUNDAY FEBRUARY 4th.

RECORDING ACADEMY CEO HARVEY MASON Jr. said, "I am so thrilled to honor and celebrate these four giants in the music industry. Last year's inaugural event was such a highlight during GRAMMY Week and now with DRE, MISSY, WAYNE, and SYLVIA there to pay tribute to this year, it's definitely going to be another night to remember.
