Bachman–Turner Overdrive Drummer Robbie Bachman Has Died

ROLLING STONE has reported that ROBBIE BACHMAN, the drummer for BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE has died. He was 69. BACHMAN and his brother RANDY were part of the band that produced the Rock hits “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” and “Takin’ Care of Business."

RANDY BACHMAN posted this on his FACEBOOK page: "Another sad departure. The pounding beat behind BTO has left us. I just got a call from FRED TURNER and my youngest brother ROBBIE has joined Mum, Dad & brother GARY on the other side. FRED said maybe JEFF BECK needs a drummer to play with. He was an integral cog in our rock 'n' roll machine and we rocked the world together." 

No further details on the death of ROBBIE BACHMAN have been revealed.
