CUMULUS MEDIA News-Talk WBAP-A/DALLAS morning co-host HAL JAY called into MONDAY's show (1/16) from a hospital bed at BAYLOR UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER to let listeners know that he is in need of a heart transplant.

On the call, JAY said that he suffered two ventricular tachycardia episodes and was told by a doctor "you're real, real sick... your heart's done." JAY is on the waiting list for a transplant and the station has established a page for listeners to send the longtime WBAP personality their well-wishes.
