EASTERN TOWER CORPORATION is selling non commercial Variety WEER/MONTAUK, NY to NEW YORK PBS affiliate WNET (TV) for $100,000. WNET also owns News-Talk WLIW-F/SOUTHAMPTON, NY and W245BA/MANORVILLE, NY on LONG ISLAND's EAST END.
In other filings with the FCC, FANNIN COUNTY BROADCASTING CO., INC. is selling Country WPPL (MOUNTAIN COUNTRY 103.9)/BLUE RIDGE, GA to WPPL MOUNTAIN COUNTRY RADIO, LLC for $420,000 plus a $340,000 noncompete agreement with the seller's President JAMES TIMOTHY WHITE.
RADIX BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Country WQCH-A-W229CX (93.7 Q-COUNTRY)/LAFAYETTE, GA to LAFAYETTE RADIO, INC. for $180,000 ($3,000 down, $27,000 cash at closing, $150,000 seller financing).
