A notice published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on TUESDAY (1/17) by the COPYRIGHT ROYALTY BOARD indicates that SOUNDEXCHANGE is planning to audit COX RADIO INTERACTIVE, DESERET MANAGEMENT CORP. (parent of BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL CORP.), and streaming music-for-businesses-and-apps provider FEED MEDIA, INC. over royalty payments under their statutory licenses. The audits will examine the webcasters' accounts for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
In addition, a release from the Copyright Royalty Judges said that SOUNDEXCHANGE will also be auditing the 2019, 2020, and 2021 statements submitted by STINGRAY GROUP INC. for its Commercial Webcaster Service, New Subscription Service, and Business Establishment Service, and EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for the same years for its noncommercial webcasting.
