Longtime NASHVILLE CONVENTION & VISITORS CORP. CEO BUTCH SPYRIDON has announced plans to retire on JUNE 30th after 32 years at the helm of the tourism organization. Current Pres. DEANA IVEY will be upped to Pres./CEO effective JULY 1st. She has been with the organization for 25 years, and was named Pres. in JANUARY of 2022. Previously, she served as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer. 

SPYRIDON, who has run the VISITORS CORP. since 1991, will continue as a strategic consultant under a two-year contract, with a focus on attracting major events and more nonstop international flights to the city.
