Veteran GRAND RAPIDS programmer KEN EVANS departs his multiple positions at TOWNSQUARE MEDIA, where he was the Dir. Of Content for the group (Rock WGRD; Urban WNWZ/[MAGIC 104.9]; AC WTVR/[100.5 THE RIVER] and Classic Hits WFGR) as well as Brand Mgr./Afternoons for Hot AC WLHT (MIX 95.7). EVANS arrived at TOWNSQUARE in APRIL 2021, crossing the street from CUMULUS.

EVANS posted on LINKEDIN, “Unfortunately, my at-will employment relationship at TOWNSQUARE MEDIA ended shortly before CHRISTMAS. They decided to manage expenses entering 2023 and I was on a list of cuts made to satiate shareholder expectations. But I can’t thank the team in GRAND RAPIDS enough for their performance. I’m sure they will continue to exceed goals and dominate in 2023.”
