The NEW YORK POST is reporting that minor league baseball BROOKLYN CYCLONES broadcaster KEITH RAAD is "AUDACY's choice" to join the company's broadcast crew for NEW YORK METS games as WAYNE RANDAZZO's replacement. RANDAZZO left the METS after last season to call LOS ANGELES ANGELS TV broadcasts on BALLY SPORTS WEST.
The POST's report by ANDREW MARCHAND notes that "the METS still have to approve the choice (of RAAD) and RAAD has to accept" the position alongside HOWIE ROSE.
RAAD has called CYCLONES games since 2018 and previously called minor league FRISCO ROUGHRIDERS, LONG ISLAND DUCKS, and DAYTON DRAGONS games as well as college sports at the UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON, CORNELL, and WAGNER COLLEGE.
The METS air on AUDACY News WCBS-A/NEW YORK.
