Celebration Of Life Set For Nashville Music Journalist And Musician Peter Cooper

A celebration of life concert has been set for the late NASHVILLE music journalist, author, musician and COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM Sr. Dir./Producer PETER COOPER on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24th in the downtown NASHVILLE museum's CMA THEATER at 7p (CT). Doors open at 6p.
COOPER died last month at the age of 52 after injuring his head in a fall (NET NEWS 12/7/22). Prior to his eight years with the museum, COOPER spent 14 years at THE TENNESSEAN, where he was Senior Music Writer. COOPER hosted the museum's VOICES IN THE HALL podcast, worked as a senior lecturer at VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY's BLAIR SCHOOL OF MUSIC, and was a GRAMMY-nominated producer and a singer-songwriter.
No RSVP is required for the Celebration of Life. Paid parking will be available at the nearby MUSIC CITY CENTER and HILTON HOTEL.
