CMT And mtheory's Equal Access Development Program Accepting Applications

Now Accepting Applications

CMT and MTHEORY are accepting applications for their Equal Access Development Program, an artist and management equity initiative. In its second year, the program supports marginalized communities underrepresented in County music including Black, Native and indigenous, Latino, LGBTQ+, and women. 

Working with participants for one year, Equal Access provides funding, training, and support to help participants navigate and grow within Country music. The 2022-23 group included artists MADELINE EDWARDS, MIKO MARKS and VALERIE PONZIO and music management professionals CHARLENE BRYANT, KADEEM PHILLIPS and MARQUES VANCE. 

The deadline to apply for the 2023-24 group is 5p (CT) on FEBRUARY 10th. Applicants must be 18 years old by the start of the program and preferably NASHVILLE-based. Visit here for complete eligibility requirements.
