Bob McCool, Jake Starr To Call Reading Fightin Phils Games In 2023

The READING FIGHTIN PHILS have a new broadcast crew, as WEEU-A/READING sportscaster BOB MCCOOL and recent PENN STATE graduate JAKE STARR take over as the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES' Double-A affiliate's announcers. STARR will also serve as Press Box Manager and media contact for the team and will create multimedia content. EMILY MESSINA exited after three years as the R-PHILS' play-by-play voice after last season. The R-PHILS are heard via streaming audio and video.
