BMI Promotes Eight On Creative Team

BMI has promoted several of the members of its creative team. The promotions include Asst. VP/Business Affairs and Creative RAFAEL MARTINEZ being named VP/Strategy and Business Affairs, Creative, based in NEW YORK and reporting to EVP/Creative and Licensing MIKE STEINBERG; Asst. VP/Legal JOHN ELLWOOD upped to Asst. VP/Strategy and Business Affairs, Creative and reporting to MARTINEZ; and Sr. Dir./Creative REEMA IQBAL promoted to Exec. Dir./Creative, Film, TV & Visual Media, based in LOS ANGELES and reporting to VP/Creative, Film, TV & Visual Media TRACY McKNIGHT.

Also, LUANN DAVIDSON has been upped to Exec. Dir./Creative Administration, based in NASHVILLE and reporting to VP/Creative CLAY BRADLEY; and Creative Dir./Partnerships and Events NINA CARTER has been promoted to Sr. Dir./Creative, Partnerships & Events, based in NASHVILLE and reporting to AVP/Creative MASON HUNTER.

In addition, JON MILLER is being upped to Dir./Creative, EUROPE, based in LONDON and reporting to VP/Worldwide Creative BARBARA CANE; and KATIE KILGALLEN and REGINALD STEWART have both been promoted to Dir./Creative, based in NEW YORK and ATLANTA, respectively, with KILGALLEN reporting to VP/Creative SAMANTHA COX and STEWART reporting to VP/Creative CATHERINE BREWTON.

RAFAEL has earned an esteemed reputation for his deep understanding of the performing rights landscape as well as his stellar service to our affiliates. JOHN’s legal expertise and exceptional dedication have also been invaluable and will tremendously benefit our songwriters, composers and publishers in his new role.”
