Cumulus/Westwood One Audio Active Group Looks At AM/FM Ad Effectiveness For Automakers

The latest CUMULUS MEDIA/WESTWOOD ONE AUDIO ACTIVE GROUP blog post by Chief Insights Officer PIERRE BOUVARD offers the results of an AM/FM radio advertising effectiveness report from COLOURTEXT and the U.K.'s RADIOCENTRE that reviewed the results of 59 ad campaigns for major automakers.
The study, "Big Audio Datamine," released in JUNE 2022, found "significant increases in advertising awareness, brand relevance, brand trust, and brand consideration" from AM/FM ad campaigns, with increased efficiency and brand lift of four to eleven times greater than AM/FM radio’s share of media spend.
