KRKT/Albany, OR Morning Co-Host Angie Schuler Publishes Book About Her Husband's Medical Journey

Last DECEMBER, BICOASTAL MEDIA Country KRKT/ALBANY, OR PD/morning host SCOTT SCHULER was hospitalized for blood clots that resulted in a pulmonary embolism and a stroke. After nearly a month's hospital stay, SCHULER was released to continue his recovery at home with his wife and morning co-host, ANGELA "ANGIE" SCHULER, and their five children. 

ANGIE has now memorialized the time spent caring for her husband in a book called, "An Open Book," which is now available in eBook, print, and audiobook versions. In addition to sharing her husband's road to recovery, the book also shares stories of kindness and love that friends, family, members of the community, and medical staff provided. 

Said ANGIE, "I sat down to write thank you cards, and ended up writing this book instead. The book is one big thank you. It’s a good story that I really wanted to tell."
