Hipgnosis Buys Catalogue Of 2023 Grammy 'Songwriter Of The Year' Tobias Jesso Jr

HIPGNOSIS SONG MANAGEMENT has purchased the songs and intellectual property rights of 2023 GRAMMY Songwriter Of The Year, TOBIAS JESSO JR. JESSO JR's is the first-ever GRAMMY winner for Songwriter Of The Year and his songs have been streamed over four billion times.
His credits include ADELE's "When We Were Young" and "Boyfriends", a song by HARRY STYLES. HIPGNOSIS has acquired 100% of JESSO JR's interest in publishing copyrights, including writer's share of performance, for approximately 40 songs released between 2015 and 2020 on behalf of HIPGNOSIS SONGS CAPITAL, a partnership between HIPGNOSIS SONG MANAGEMENT and funds managed by BLACKSTONE.
The catalogue comprises JESSO JR's solo works and his work for other artists including ADELE, NIALL HORAN, P!NK, SIA, PALOMA FAITH, RUEL, SHAWN MENDES, CHARLIE PUTH, MEGHAN TRAINOR and FLORENCE + THE MACHINE. JESSO JR, whose debut album "Goon" was released in 2015 and led to his inclusion in ROLLING STONE magazine’s list of the 20 Biggest Breakouts of 2015.
TOBIAS JESSO JR is represented by manager BEN PERSKY at MIXED MANAGEMENT and lawyer NICKY STEIN at CLINTONS.
