WMAL/DC Names Fowler As Dir. Of Marketing and Promotion

ABC Talk WMAL-A/WASHINGTON has named RICK FOWLER as Dir. of Marketing and Promotion. FOWLER started with the ABC WASHINGTON stations in 1979 at sister AC WRQX (then Q107) as MD/Dir, of Advertising and Promotion, then added on-air fill-in work at WMAL in 1980; he has also managed concert and album pjojects for THE BEACH BOYS, served as Regional Director of Public Relations & Advertising for HYATT HOTELS, and managed his own public relations and marketing firm.
