Crowley Official As WARO PD; Chaos Hits WVRK

ALL ACCESS reported earlier this month (NET NEWS 3/8) that JACOBS MEDIA consultant CHRIS CROWLEY had been hired to replaced CHRIS CHAOS as PD of MERIDIAN Classic Rock WARO/FT. MYERS. Now MERIDIAN Dir./Programming RANDY MARSH makes the official announcement, saying, "CROWLEY was the easy choice. CHRIS has worked with our #1 JACOBS Consultant RALPH CIPOLLA on WARO's programming for the past two years.

"CHRIS CROWLEY knows this station better than any candidate. He knows WARO from the inside. He’s already been a part of the team that attained #1 25-54 male domination in the market and even better, knows how to help us maintain that position and grow a bigger share of market revenue."

CROWLEY will also host afternoon drive and officially assumes his new duties today (3/23). 

Meanwhile, CHAOS checks in with ALL ACCESS to tell us he's landed PD and afternoon drive duties at CLEAR CHANNEL Rocker WVRK/COLUMBUS, GA starting first week of APRIL. He replaces MIKE STEELE, who moves to an Internet operations/website development role.
