Mad Dog & Dave Surprise Injured Girl

On FEBRUARY 18, 5-year old ALEXIS WRIGHT was critically injured when she was struck by a truck while sledding and dragged more than 500 feet. She suffered two collapsed lungs, a broken femur, a bruised kidney, lacerations and other various injuries stemming from the incident.

The story captured the attention of CUMULUS Oldies WSOX (OLDIES 96.1)/YORK morning duo MAD DOG & DAVE, who have followed the little girl's progress since the accident occurred and have been giving regular on-air updates to their audience. "We were in contact with ALEXIS' family for nearly a month getting updates," MAD DOG says. "She is an amazing little girl. She is a living miracle."

This morning (3/30) MAD DOG & DAVE surprised ALEXIS and her family with a little red wagon overflowing with prizes from HERSHEY PARK, DISNEY, BOYD'S BEAR COUNTRY, TOYS 'R US and more as the duo invited ALEXIS to the WSOX studios to celebrate her recovery.
