  INSIDE INDIANA BUSINESS reports that a spokeswoman for EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS has told the TV and radio financial show that Chairman/CEO JEFF SMULYAN is not interested in buying the CHICAGO CUBS.
  SMULYAN, a former owner of the SEATTLE MARINERS, did not give any reason for not pursuing the CUBS, who will be sold after the 2007 season as part of SAM ZELL's takeover of parent TRIBUNE CO.
