Bayside's John Beatz Killed In Auto Accident

ALL ACCESS is sad to report that VICTORY RECORDS recording artists BAYSIDE drummer JOHN "BEATZ" HOLAHAN was killed in a terrible auto accident yesterday (10/31) at 3a on Interstate 80 outside CHEYENNE, WY when the band's van flipped after hitting a patch of ice. Lead singer ANTHONY RANERI and guitarist JACK O'SHEA have been discharged from the hospital. Bass player NICK GHANBARIAN, road crew members SCOTT ROBINSON and DANIEL MARINO remain hospitalized.

BAYSIDE was touring with labelmates HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS, SILVERSTEIN, and AIDEN.  BEATZ's funeral will be this SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5th.  HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS and SILVERTEIN will attend the wake on FRIDAY and resume the tour in ANAHEIM on this SATURDAY.  BAYSIDE's JACK and ANTHONY are going home for a couple weeks then flying out to continue the tour acoustically.
