BMI Hands Out Christian Music Awards

BMI recently handed out its annual BMI CHRISTIAN MUSIC AWARDS in NASHVILLE. BMI named CASTING CROWNS song “Voice of Truth” (written by STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN and MARK HALL) as Song of the Year, while the group’s frontman, MARK HALL, was named Songwriter of the Year. 

BMI VP JODY WILLIAMS, Sr. Dir. THOMAS CAIN and Associate Dir. BETH MASON presented awards for 25 songs in five categories: Christian Rock, Contemporary Christian, Inspirational, Urban Gospel and Southern Gospel. A complete list of the 2007 BMI Christian Music Award winners can be found here.
