John Snyder Promoted To VP/PPM

ARBITRON promotes JOHN SNYDER to the newly created position of VP/Portable People Meter Sales. SNYDER retains his post as VP/Nat'l Group Sales overseeing CLEAR CHANNEL and CITADEL accounts.

In other ARBITRON news, the company has released its first NETWORK RADIO TODAY report with national radio listening and network radio audiences culled from RADAR results.  The report indicates network radio reaches approximately 75% of all radio listeners every week.  More than 128 million adults are listening in their cars each week, compared to 93 million listening at home. 

ARBITRON VP/National Radio Services BRUCE SUPOVITZ said, “Network radio has the ability to deliver key advertising messages to well-defined demographics and social-economic groups.  This medium offers national advertisers a convenient, one-stop access to build reach quickly and efficiently across the nation.”
