Boise's About To Wow 'Em

ALL ACCESS has learned that PEAK BROADCASTING Country KTMY (MY COUNTRY)/BOISE will soon become WOW COUNTRY 104.3. The details on the new lineup are beginning to emerge, and, according to www.IdahoRadioNews.com, syndicated shows BIG D & BUBBA, LIA and AFTER MIDNITE will no longer be heard. The AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN with KIX BROOKS will continue to run on weekends.

Mornings will be handled by PANAMA JACK, and current afternooner SHOTGUN will move to middays. As ALL ACCESS previously told you (NET NEWS 4/16), SIMMONS MEDIA Country KEGA/SALT LAKE CITY MD/afternoon guy DANNY RYAN will take on the same duties for WOW, under the name DON JARRET. Imaging for the new station will be done by JACK MURPHY. 

The call letters are expected to change as well, but no details are available yet. Stay tuned for more on this story.
