Sirius Canada Lineup: No Stern

SIRIUS CANADA has unveiled its 100 channel lineup, and HOWARD STERN isn't on the list but 10 canadian channels are, including six from the CBC and four from STANDARD RADIO. 

The CBC channels include CBC RADIO ONE, the previously announced expanded CBC RADIO 3, multilanguage RCI PLUS, and three French channels, PREMIERE PLUS, INFOPLUS, and BANDEAPART. STANDARD's offerings will include one talk channel, the previously announced HARDCORE SPORTS RADIO, plus rock ICEBERG RADIO and French language channels ROCK VELOURS and ENERGIE.   SIRIUS representatives tell ALL ACCESS that some of the Canadian channels will be available to U.S. SIRIUS subscribers at launch time, with all of them available by SPRING.

Among the U.S. channels included are MARTHA STEWART LIVING, MAXIM RADIO, E! ENTERTAINMENT RADIO, LAUGH BREAK, MARGARITAVILLE, UNDERGROUND GARAGE, and EMINEM's SHADE 45; the BBC's RADIO ONE and BBC WORLD news channel will also be carried. Service will be priced at C$14.99/month.
