Veteran PHILADELPHIA personality KIM ALEXANDER WALSH (WXPN, WMMR, WYSP and others) is producing a CD compilation to benefit the CHILDREN WITH DIABETES FOUNDATION. "All The Wild Wonders," which hits stores MAY 22nd, will feature music from SARA HICKMAN, WILLY PORTER, THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS, JOANIE BARTERS and TROUT FISHING IN AMERICA, among others.
WALSH had been interested in creating a music CD that kids and their parents could listen to together when her then-6-year-old daughter, KEELY, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in NOVEMBER 2005. “KEELY's doctors recommended the CHILDREN WITH DIABETES web site, which we found extremely helpful, particularly in the early months of learning to manage diabetes,” said WALSH, “so I wanted to thank them for their good work and support the Foundation.”
"All the Wild Wonders" will be available at MAIN STREET MUSIC in MANAYUNK, and via CD BABY and the CHILDREN WITH DIABETES web sites. More info can be found at www.myspace.com/allthewildwonders. For more info, contact: ELISE BROWN at elisebrown@verizon.net, or 609.890.8487.
