The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) announces their 40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION will air SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3rd at 9p (ET/PT) on CBS. The show was taped on MAY 18th at the MANDALAY BAY RESORT & CASINO in LAS VEGAS and will celebrate the organization's commitment to Country music over the past 40 years. A who's who of Country stars is scheduled to appear including ALABAMA, GARTH BROOKS, BROOKS & DUNN, KENNY CHESNEY, RASCAL FLATTS, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, ALAN JACKSON, GEORGE STRAIT, TRISHA YEARWOOD, LEE ANN WOMACK and MERLE HAGGARD.
