XM, Sirius Expand Monitor Reporting

Satellite radio airplay will now have more impact on BILLBOARD RADIO MONITOR's charts. Top 40 channels SIRIUS HITS 1 and XM's 20 ON 20 have been contributing airplay data to MONITOR's Mainstream Top 40 chart for several months. Now, five more SIRIUS channels and four more XM channels will have their airplay reflected by varoius other MONITOR charts.

The MONITOR Active Rock chart will now include airplay from SQUIZZ (XM 48) and OCTONE (SIRIUS 20). The Modern Rock chart welcomes ALT. NATION (SIRIUS 21) and ETHEL (XM 47). The R&B/Hip-Hop chart will take airplay from THE CITY (XM 67) and HOT JAMZ (SIRIUS 50). Additionally, MIX (XM 22) will report to the Adult Top 40 Chart; THE SPECTRUM (SIRIUS 18) will be included in the Triple A chart; and HEART & SOUL (SIRIUS 51) will have its airplay count toward the Adult R&B chart.
