  Taking Over K-Rock
  
  On THURSDAY, JULY 12, CBS Rock WXRK (K-ROCK) becomes "Cherub Rock" as the SMASHING PUMPKINS take over afternoon drive (3-7p). Fresh off their LIVE EARTH performance the SMASHING PUMPKINS will be commandeering the airwaves playing their favorite K-ROCK music and tracks from their new CD, "Zeitgeist".
  "We are definitely happy the rock is back in NEW YORK CITY" said BILLY CORGAN of the SMASHING PUMPKINS.
