The PHILADELPHIA MARCH OF DIMES AIR AWARDS luncheon happened today (11/9) at the PHILADELPHIA HILTON CITY AVENUE. Winners included:

-- Best Weekday Morning Host or Team: WMMR, PRESTON ELLIOTT & STEVE MORRISON “THE PRESTON & STEVE SHOW" (Their 4th win in 5 years).

-- Best Weekday Midday Host or Team: WXTU, LEIGH RICHARDS.

-- Best Afternoon Host or Team: WOGL, BIG RON OBRIEN.

-- Best Weekday Evening Host or Team: WYSP, MATT DIFILIPPO & LAWRENCE BERGMAN, “THE MATT & HUGGY SHOW.” 

-- Best Weekday Talk Show Host or Team: WHAT, MARY MASON, “Mornings With Mary.” 

MASON also received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, with video greetings from BILL COSBY, a live introduction by PHILLY music legend KENNY GAMBLE, and a note from STEDMAN and OPRAH.
