BONNEVILLE Talk KSL-A-F/SALT LAKE CITY's youth-oriented "NIGHTSIDE PROJECT" celebrates its first anniversary tonight with a mockumentary, "30 Years of the Nightside Project." PD KEVIN LARUE tells ALL ACCESS that the station borrowed the idea from a GARRY SHANDLING special parodying the old "TONIGHT SHOW" retrospectives. The "historical" special airs 7-8p MT.
And the show's success has led to the company taking the show for three of its other stations, slotting it for 1-3a on News/Talk WTWP-A-F (WASHINGTON POST RADIO)/WASHINGTON, Talk KTAR/PHOENIX, and Talk KIRO-A/SEATTLE. The show is on a track for national syndication to other markets after establishing itself at the BONNEVILLE stations.
