WGCI Morning Show Released; Steve Harvey Starts Aug. 1

The much-anticipated morning changes at CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WGCI/CHICAGO are now official: “CRAZY” HOWARD McGEE, ART PORTER and NIKKI WOODS have exited, leaving morning co-host LEON ROGERS to do mornings until AUGUST 1st, when the syndicated STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW debuts.
WGCI will be the 50th radio station for HARVEY, who started his radio career there in 1996. According to the Arbitron Winter '07 book, he hosts the top-rated morning show in the top-50 metro markets with Persons 12+, 18-34, 18-49, 25-54 and Women 25-54."STEVE HARVEY is a world-class entertainer and we are tremendously excited to add him to WGCI's on-air lineup," stated WGCI PD KRIS KELLEY.
