Rumors become reality at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WISN-A/MILWAUKEE with the move of middayer JAY WEBER back to mornings and the addition of a new show with sister Talk WIBA-A/MADISON afternoon host VICKI MCKENNA for 10a-noon. The changes, previously tipped on ALL ACCESS (NET NEWS 7/24), are effective MONDAY (7/30). MCKENNA continues with a separate show at WIBA as well as the new WISN show.
"Frankly, we are thrilled to be this fortunate," said WISN PD JERRY BOTT. "JAY’s show exploded in the ratings back in APRIL. VICKI represents the next generation of conservative talkers. When you add that to a lineup that already features MARK BELLING, RUSH LIMBAUGH and SEAN HANNITY, I’d call WISN-AM a conservative talk powerhouse."
WEBER's move, as reported YESTERDAY at ALL ACCESS, displaces the "EARLY SPIN" morning show, which means the exit of hosts DAN DEIBERT and NICOLE DEVIN and producer KEITH CONRAD. Reach DEIBERT at (262) 456-5341 or dandeibert@gmail.com and reach CONRAD at keithrconrad@gmail.com.
