  FISHER COMMUNICATIONS has appointed retired UNIVISION TELEVISION GROUP President MICHAEL D. WORTSMAN to its Board of Directors. WORTSMAN's background includes VP/Station Mgr. at independent KUSI-TV/SAN DIEGO, VP/GSM at WTTG (TV) (FOX 5)/WASHINGTON, LSM at TRIBUNE's KTLA (TV)/LOS ANGELES, and DOS at then-NBC affiliate KRON (TV)/SAN FRANCISCO.
